Before using the SAW Filter, do a good job of grounding to minimize the coupling between the input and output. Otherwise, this coupling will cause the amplitude and group delay of the device to fluctuate. Note that the wave frequency is f = 1/T
SAW Resonator is a filter whereby the electrical input signal is converted to a acoustic wave by so-called interdigital transducers (IDTs) on a piezoelectric substrate like quartz.
Not all types of Quartz Materials are naturally occurring. Some transparent quartz crystals can be treated with heat or gamma-irradiation to induce color without naturally occurring. The sensitivity to this treatment depends on the location of the quartz being mined.
The SAW Resonator and the acoustic table filter are elastic waves that are generated and propagated on the surface of the piezoelectric substrate material and whose amplitude rapidly decreases as the depth of the material of the substrate increases.
The SAW filter has a small size and is suitable for micro-sealing, good consistency, and no need to adjust.
The basic structure of the SAW filter is to fabricate two acoustic and electrical transducers on the polished surface of the substrate material with piezoelectric properties - the interdigital transducer.
